iPhoto Project

1. Which search terms did you use to find images (for the letters of your name and the images that describe you) and why?

- I used the words "Picture, letter, art". I thought that those words were the best words that described what I was looking for.

2. What skills did you use/learn in this project?

- I learned how to edit all my pictures to help them to fit my color scheme.

3. Describe how you might use these skills and apply them to a real-world situation.

- If I had family photos that I wanted to show, but didn't find think they were at their best quality, I could edit all the pictures to make them more visually attractive.

4. This was a more creative project than our first 2. Did you prefer it or the more cut and dry assignments in Word and Excel?

-I enjoy creative freedom, therefore I enjoyed this project more. it allowed me to show my personality.

1. What tools in Excel did you use to create your project? I used the chart style tool to pick a pie chart style, I also used the color bar to change colors of the text and of the pie chart. I also used the inset picture tool to put a picture of M&Ms in my chart.

2. What parts of the project confused you? Why? I got confused about the averaging. I couldn't find the button for adding or averaging. I wasn't sure which numbers to add/average.

3. What “extras” (colors, decorations, etc.) did you add to your project? I added all the colors of the M&Ms to the text and numbers. I also added a faded picture of M&ms behind my chart.

4. What are some ways to tell if you did the project correctly? When you look at the total column and the average column, you can check if your equation works. If you have all the colors of the m&ms, and if you check with you teacher to see if you did it correctly.

5. What are some other uses you may have for a simple excel spreadsheet? I think a good way to use excel spreadsheet is to keep track of christmas gifts. That way you can record the people you wnat to buy for, the presents you buy and the amount you spend.
